Let's Talk Grey - My Heart Can't Handle

Is everyone else heartbroken with this Calzona fight?
OMG it's killing me! Why, Shonda, why? Why must you make Arizona cry?
I can't handle her crying! I'll just grab a bottle of whiskey and wait for tonight's episode!

Let's Talk Grey: Dinner Party from Hell

OK, we can all breathe a little relieved now. Well, at least for some part. After yesterday's episode of Grey's Anatomy, "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" I at least know my heart is in condition to handle some serious emotions.

Last week's episode we learned that Callie's new girlfriend, Penny, is the doctor who treated Derek when he had the accident and died. (One moment to wipe the tears. I'm still shaken with this loss.)
Right away Mer recognizes her and Penny recognizes Mer, who starts to act weird and being nice to everyone, and we know that being nice is not something Mer is good at.
Alex obviously, as her new person, realizes something is wrong. But she doesn't say anything.

Of course, Callie is all in love and happy with the new girlfriend who seems perfect until then.

Let's Talk Grey: My heart has stopped

Was it just me or did everyone else's heart stop with the last scene of episode four?!
I mean, come on!!!!

What was that?
Definitely Shonda has no love for me!

Let's talk Grey: So many tears

Did you guys see Buzzfeed's  "23 Heartbreaking Medical Moments From 'Grey’s Anatomy' That Make You Forget That It’s Only A TV Show"?
No? Well get ready for a voyage in the saddest moments of the show... Yes, I cried in each one of these moments and I confess I cried when I read some again...

1. When Cristina has an ectopic pregnancy and she loses her baby.

And then you’re crying because watching Cristina Yang cry is like watching your own parent cry. And then you realize that you’ve accidentally eaten all of the mac and cheese and everything is sad.

Let's Talk Grey - Life Without McDreamy

So Grey's Anatomy premiered last week. And all we wanted to know was: What will life be without McDreamy? And I have concluded that it is too soon to tell, but I gotta say I'm liking the sisters living together. This is promising. Specially when there is a hole on the wall and they have these looks in their faces.

It's Today!

Let's talk Grey - Amizona? Amelia and Arizona?

I know, I know. We love Calzona. And I, specially, love their story and their love. But it seems like Shonda Rhimes is messing with our heads. Apearently Callie and Arizona are not getting back together in season 12 and that sucks and pisses me off, but I think I might be changing teams soon since I got a vibe between Arizona and Amelia. Was it just me!?

Of course we're heartbroken for the end of Calzona, but would it give us a little bit of comfort if Shonda gave us Amizona!? I know I would! Not that I don't like Callie, I do, a lot, and I think she should get her Princess Charming too, it just doesn't seem that their story is gonna get back on track. I'm sad for that. Then again, I love Amelia. Of course she's had her downs and ups, but she's so strong and pretty and sexy and...well I got the hots for Amelia. And Arizona, come on she's been mine, and most of yours crush since we met her. All blond and cute and shiny.

Now, we just have to wait for September 24th when Grey's Anatomy returns and we hope to see some hot and cute scenes of Amelia and Arizona.

Hot Mamas

It's mother's day. It is a day that anyone who has a mother any little bit like mine dreads. You never know what to get her and if you ask for what she wants it's a drama because she'll say you don't know what she likes so you don't care about her, and if you get her something simple she won't say anything, but she'll make sure you know she thinks you don't like her and if you get her something really expensive she'll yell at you saying you shouldn't be spending so much money. In the end you don't wanna get her anything but of course that is worse. So no matter what the gift is you will get in trouble. Yep, that's mama. So on this day I try to focus on what makes me happy about spending time with my mother. She doesn't drink, so there's more left for me. I know right? Mom doesn't drink. Shocking we don't get along.
Anyways, in attempt to make this day a little better for me and for mama considering I will be in a much better mood when I finish this post, I decided to talk about the Hot Mamas on TV. Shall we?

Sasha Alexander aka Dr. Maura Isles. Maura doesn't have kids. She's too busy doing autopsies, solving crimes and pretending she's not in love with Jane Rizzoli, but Sasha has two, Lucia Sofia, who will turn five this month and Leonardo Fortunato who was born December last year. Now, we haven't met Leo yet, but Lucia is adorable! That is one cute baby and a hot mama!

Callie Torres and Arizona Robins. Our Grey's Anatomy couple. They just had a wedding after they had a baby, Sofia Robbin Sloan Torres, cute little thing. They've been through it all and now they get to raise a baby together. Ah, motherhood never looked so good.

Naomi Bennett. She's leaving Private Practice, but we'll always remember her. Sam's ex-wife is not just a hot mama, she's a hot grandmama! Her daughter Maya also has a daughter, Olivia. Oh, if every grandma in the world were like you, Naomi.

Bette Porter and Tina Kennard. Mothers of Angelica, of course they would make it to the Hot Mamas. Ah, how we miss Bette and Tina. They were our obsession for six seasons and will forever be in our memories. We all wished for that parking lot scene of the last episode of The L Word to never have happened. How happy we would've been to watch Tina and Bette grow old together, and Angie's sweet sixteen? First boyfriend? Or girlfriend? And her graduation? And her wedding? I miss them.

Rachel Green. Friends was an awesome show. And Rachel was a big part of the show's awesomeness. I was too excited when she found out she was pregnant with Emma, when we found out that Ross was the father and through all her pregnancy and birth. And guess what? She was hot through it all!

Nic and Jules. We all know the two mom's from the movie The Kids Are All Right. Despite all the confusion and the problems that goes on in the movie that makes us hate it and love it at the same time, the purpose of the movie is to show, as the tittle say, that the kids, Joni and Laser, are if fact going to be fine, even with two moms and a donor dad. And I have to say, with these two moms I think we'll all be all right.

Natalie Portman. First time mom and Black Swan star Natalie Portman's baby is due this summer. I have to say she is an amazing actress and her performance was Academy Award worthy, specially her kiss with Mila Kunis. We hope her baby comes healthy and cute and I am sure she'll be a great mom as much as she is a hot mama.

Happy Mother's Day!

What I'd Say To You - Lucia Torres

Mrs Torres, Callie's mom was on Grey's Anatomy last episode and well, she's not a very nice person. And since it's mother's day, here's What I'd Say To Her.

"You can't pray away the gay! So why don't you try being a good man in the storm for your daughter?!"

The Royal Lesbian Wedding

It happened. Are any of you talking about anything else? Have you talked about anything else since Callie said "yes"? If you think about it, Calzona's wedding is for lesbians the same as what the Royal Wedding was for the British. It was our very own Royal Wedding, not smoothly as the other Royal Wedding was, but it was. We've talked about it for so long and we all sat in front of the TV to watch it.
The parents were there. They were uncool. Well just two of them. Arizona's father referred to himself as The Colonel, made it clear that he doesn't like Mark and didn't want her to have a minute of silence for her brother who died. But in the end it all worked out because, he walked her down the aisle. And she had her minute to miss her brother comforted by who? Ha, Mark. Yes, they seem to be getting along just fine. Which I think is good, because I like Mark, I just don't like it when he's sleeping with Callie. So let's keep Arizona and Callie together and Mark as Sofia's father and that's it. It was a beautiful scene. I cried.

On Callie's side it was a little bit more intense, at some point she actually canceled the wedding. Thank God I knew it would end good because I don't think my heart could handle it. But let's get back on track. Callie's dad was all good and loving the wedding and the granddaughter and even Sofia's dad, Mark. Callie's mother on the other hand was not liking any of it at all. She wouldn't even hold the baby. The part when they have the conversation at Callie's apartment was the one that caught my attention the most. Her mom says

"Don't you dare imply that there's anything about a wedding to a
woman or a baby out-of-wedlock that's for me."

Ok, some of us know how that feels. Well I do. Not that my mom said that, but it was pretty close. But you know what? I liked Callie's response.

"Ok, so what bothers you more? My bastard child or my lesbian fiancee?
You're a lawyer mom. You're out in the world. You know other gay people.
You're secretary's gay. I'm your daughter."

Yes, she is your daughter and you are being a big hypocrite if your secretary's gay, but you can't accept your own daughter being gay. We know that happens a lot, but I would like to focus on the secretary. Is she hot? Big picture? Ok. So Mrs. Torres and her God isn't going to accept Callie and this wedding and storms out. Then we learn that the minister can't make it to the wedding so Callie decides to call it off, but it's fine because then, along comes Bailey. And she reminds us what we all should know since day one and remember always.

"First of all, you do not need the law or a priest or your mother to make your wedding real, and the church can be anywhere  you want it to be. In a field, on a mountain, right here in this room. Anywhere, because where do you think God is? He's in you. He's in me. Just right here, in the middle of us. Your churches hasn't caught up to God yet. Your mother, she, hasn't caught up to God yet and, by the way, she may never catch up, but it's OK. It's OK. If you are willing to stand up in front of your friends, and family and God and commit yourself to another human being, to give of yourself and that kind of partnership, for better or worse, in sickness and in health, honey that is a marriage, that is real. And that's all that matters."

I love Bailey. Specially when she ends her speech with:

"Besides, I got legally married, to a man, in a church. Look how well that turned out."

Then what's next? Obviously after that speech Bailey is officiating the wedding. I liked how they made a connection to Meredith and Derek's legal wedding. Oh yeah, they decided to get legally married since they want to adopt an african child. The scene just stated that for MerDer it was"hey, we we're married on a post it and we are only making it legal for the child", while for Calzona it was "hey we are getting married because we are committed to each other and we want to celebrate our love, so we don't need your law to be happy when you aprove post it weddings like you were filing job applications at Burger King, ha!"

Aside from it being all cute and happy, I think it was too fast. Maybe the expectation got my hopes up to high and I waited for a whole episode of Calzona white, party, love, kissing, vows...and forgot all about the rest of the show. But it's fine, they got married, it was beautiful and no one ran off, or canceled the wedding, or died.

What I'd Say To You - Calzona

Calliope Iphigenia Torres and Arizona Robins are one of the most adorable couples on television. All of us who watch and love them have been waiting for the day that they would finally get married. And that day has come. This What I'd Say To You is in honor of their beautiful wedding.

What I'd Say To You - Callie and Arizona

"Amid falls, turn overs, endings and new beginnings, I knew my life could only be shared with you."

Let's talk Grey - Calzona Wedding

So, it's here. Calzona wedding has arrived. We've been waiting for this since the first bathroom kiss.
We all wished and waited for the day that Callie Torres and Arizona Robins would get married. And even though Shonda Rhimes did put us through hell, apparently she has decided to give us a little moment of relief and great joy with this story.

The episode that airs tonight, "White Wedding", promisses a happy ending amongst parents, cold feet and Mark, but, using Arizona's words "let's focus on the big picture".

I don't know what else can happen to these two, because let's face it, they've been through it all and nothing fairer than for them to get the wedding of their dreams and live happily ever after as we watch. Let's hope they stay like this for a long time.

It's Just A Little Crush

I  have crushes. We all do. And since my recent post about the Royal sister-in-law, I came to realize how many crushes I have. I don't know if everyone has this many crushes, but if I were my girlfriend, I'd be a little worried. - See how I told you I have a girlfriend now, without being too obvious? - Well, actually I don't think she should be worried, because I also realized most of my crushes are impossible or improbable. Because there is a difference. Impossible is something that can't, in any circumstance, occur. Improbable is something that is not likely to occur, but can, in some twisted turn of events, occur.
So I decided to make two lists. One of my impossible crushes and the other of my improbable crushes. Here they are.

Impossible

Dr. Arizona Robbins. Well, it's obviously impossible because she is a fictional character, and I would never, ever, want to break her from Callie Torres, but every time I see her walking down the halls of Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital I wish I could be a pediatric surgical resident in the Seattle of Grey's Anatomy just to look at her the whole day long.

Devassa Lady. Devassa is a Brazillian beer and the logo is a pin-up girl illustrating the beer's name, which translates "naughty". It's alcohol. It's a girl and she's naughty. How am I not going to have a crush on her?

Alexandra Cabot. Another character, played by Stephanie March. The former Assistant District Attorney from Law & Order Special Victims Unit. While most people, and by that I mean lesbians, have a crush on Olivia Benson, played by Mariska Hargitay, I don't. Don't get me wrong, Olivia is hot as a sunny day in Miami, but Alex is different. Alex is badass-smartass-blonde-lawyery-people's defendant-smokin' hot.

Miranda Priestly. First it's Meryl Streep. Second she wears Prada. Third she's as mean as it gets. Put it together. It's a bossy Meryl Streep with excellent fashion sense. Nothing further.

Ariel, The Little Mermaid. She's a mermaid. I might have a thing for mermaids. Still checking on that. From all the Disney princesses she was the one I always like the most. And besides she being a cartoon and all, I would definitely try living under the sea with her.

Silvia Castro León, aka worst death in the history of television. Pepa and Silvia were the cutest most adorable couple from Spanish series "Los Hombres de Paco". Silvia was a medical examiner and forensics expert. Pepa was a police agent. Silvia died on their wedding day, in Pepa's arms. Later, Pepa killed the guy responsible for her death. I am still traumatized. But Silvia, portrayed by Marián Aguilera, was the cutest, sexiest little thing. I'd risk my career and life haunting down the Italian Mafia chief who got her killed, too.

Diana, Princess of Wales. Beautiful, engaged in charity, royal and British. Unfortunately and sadly, Princess Diana is gone, but if she were still alive she'd definitely be on my improbable list and I'd probably be finding a way to move to England.

Miss Scarlet, from Clue. I loved that board game. Still do. And I always wanted the murderer to be Miss Scarlet just to see her on the spotlight. Board game character, or not, I wouldn't mind being tied up by her, with the rope, in the conservatory…

Barbie. I had Barbies when I was a kid. I played with Barbies. It's not just because I'm gay that I played with cars and army action figures. I collected Barbies. I loved Barbie. Loved her so much that I think she was my first girl crush.

Helena Peabody. First there's the accent. English accents are my thing. I can never go to England or I'll probably fall in love every ten seconds. In addition, she's hot as f****. Rachel Shelley's Helena was my favorite character from "The L Word". I'd be living at She Bar if I were in "The L Word" just because she'd be there. Oh, and there's all that money she has.

Improbable

Pippa Middleton, aka Her Royal Hotness. Yes, the Royal sister-in-law had to be here. The newest addition to my list. She's got the accent, she's all about party, she is kind of in the royal family, and she is gorgeous. She's so gorgeous I don't even remember Kate's wedding dress, but I know every inch of Pippa's creamy white, smoking' hot made of honor dress. And even though she's all the way over in England and is totally out of my commoner league, who knows what could happen? It is improbable, but not impossible.

Angie Harmon. Republican, married, mother of three and beautiful. I'd say that's improbable, but who knows…? She could meet me, fall completely in love at first sight and want to live happily ever after by my side. It could happen.

Lisa Ray. Her eyes are amazing. They hypnotize me. Since the first time I saw her eyes in "I Can't Think Straight" I fell for her. Then she started dancing. From that moment on I new I was gone. I am seriously considering moving to Canada.

Cleo Prires. Brazilian actress and sex symbol. Just take a look and tell me she isn't worth a trip to Rio?

Carla Bruni. I am a big fan of the french First Lady. She's hot, she sings, she's hot, she has style and she's hot. Did I mention she's hot?

J.K. Rowling. First she gave us Harry Potter. You know, she could be ugly and that would only make me love her in a "thank you for making my life complete with the greatest story of all times" way. But she's not ugly. On the contrary, she's beautiful. And of course, key factor, the accent. Come on J.K. You've got everything I've ever dreamed of. Care to come play for our team?

Chely Wright. Yeah I know she's engaged and all, but come on. She's got the whole package. Country singer, heart of gold, sense of humor and the looks of a goddess. From now to August there's so many things to happen. Don't get me wrong I hope and wish that everything goes right for her and Lauren Blitzer and that they live hapily, but you know, I'd totally marry her in Connecticut in a heartbeat too.

Kate Walsh. My favorite character from Grey's Anatomy was Addison Montgomery. Now she's my favorite from Private Practice. I'd say it has to do with the fact that she is portrayed by Kate Walsh and she is just fabulous. The hair, the eyes, the face, the body. Last I heard she was dating, but, hey, breakups happen, people meet other people. She could meet me.

Olivia Wilde. Really is there anything else that needs to be said about Olivia Wilde besides, The O.C., House, Tron, her social work and that look on her face? Since the first time she appeared on The O.C. as Alex, Marissa's bi adventure, she has been on my list of people I will probably die wishing to have met.

Sandra Bullock. I've always liked Sandra Bullock and thought she was hot. Miss Congeniality is one of my favorite movies. Then she goes and kisses Meryl Streep. Then she goes and kisses Scarlet Johanson. And let's not forget she danced her a** off with Betty White. Then I see this picture just to make me want to buy a house in New Orleans as soon as possible so we can meet already.

Grey's Threesome

So I've been keeping a closer eye on Grey's now, I've always been obsessed with the show and now, more than ever, with Callie's pregnancy and the new threesome that appeared, it's all very messed up. We are all scared of what this will do to my favorite couple on Primetime TV. But what surprises me the most is that Arizona and Mark seem to be handling it very well, better than I expected. Mark we knew was gonna love the idea, after all he's been wanting a child since his daughter Sloane showed up pregnant.

Arizona I didn't think was gonna be so fine with the situation, but taking from the next episode, "Don't Deceive Me (Please Don't Go)", airing Feb 3rd, she seems very much OK with it.

Actually the only one that doesn't look happy is Callie. In fact she looks very annoyed. Maybe it's just the hormones, but she is for sure not comfortable with this.

It is a very odd turn their stories are taking, and I have no idea how this is going to unfold but somehow I just wish they make it work. And let's hope Calzona gets a happy ending.
